Intervention

Approximately 5-15% of all school aged children are identified as having a specific learning disability. Following the diagnosis of a specific learning disability, parents are often left to search for effective treatment. However, choosing “the right” treatment can feel overwhelming and confusing. Over the last few decades, researchers have devoted significant time into identifying the most effective interventions for children with specific learning disabilities. At Evolve Psychology, we pride ourselves with providing up-to-date, research based interventions to children who struggle to learn.

Our educational interventions are targeted toward children and adolescents who may be having difficulty with different academic skills such as reading, writing, and mathematics. Our intervention services are always evidence based, individually tailored, and delivered by highly trained professionals in the field of education.

Multi-Sensory Reading Camp

Currently, we are offering a multi-sensory Reading Camp through the months of July and August designed for children 6-8 years old (going into grades 2 and 3). The camp offers 18 hours of direct reading instruction focusing on: decoding, reading fluency, reading comprehension, and reading strategies.

The camp also includes a parent intake and feedback session as well as an individualized pre- and-post intervention reading assessment.
